Book News: The Hunger Games, Katniss First Look!

we got our first look at Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss in The Hunger Games, and she looks pretty fantastic:

Entertainmeny Weekly has unveiled the much-anticipated first look at Jennifer Lawrence in costume as Katniss Everdeen for the upcoming movie adaptation of The Hunger Games.
Fans have eagerly been awaiting this moment, ever since Lawrence’s casting was first announced — many fans initially upset because Lawrence’s usual appearance did not match the character’s description in Suzanne Collins’ book.
Thanks to this new cover — from this week’s upcoming issue — and the accompanying article, any lingering doubts should be erased. Fans can easily see that Lawrence is Katniss.
Lawrence also talks to EW about auditioning for the role, and what it meant to accept the offer.
“I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change,” Lawrence told EW. “And I walked around an entire day thinking, ‘It’s not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven’t said yes yet, it’s not too late.’”
